Ian Tomlins, Divisional Director, Concept
Ian Tomlins has worked with Concept for over 10 years and has been instrumental in designing and implementing strategies to realise the company’s sales ambitions for the Concept agency management solutions and services.
Ian, who has an extensive background in selling business solutions to advertising agencies, is a well known and respected figure amongst advertising agency professionals and was promoted to Divisional Director of Concept in early 2007.
Ian began his career when he joined his first advertising agency in 1979 in the role of Group Accountant. He transitioned to the role of Computer Manager, following the installation of the agency’s first computer system and since that time he has been selling computer systems to advertising agencies throughout the UK and Europe. Ian came to ESG from rival Adserve.
As Concept’s divisional director Ian is responsible for sales and services strategy and execution together with overseeing customer retention, client services and product strategy and direction.
Keith Bates, CEO, ESG Group
Keith Bates has been at the forefront of the technology industry for 25 years and as co-founder of the company that developed the Concept agency management solution, was instrumental in integrating Concept into the ESG portfolio of solutions and services.
As CEO of ESG Group, Keith oversees the strategic planning and direction of ESG Concept, ESG DCS and ESG PS. A business visionary, Keith is driving ESG Group’s financial and technological future.
Prior to ESG, Keith co-founded Concept Integrated Systems, the company that developed the Concept Agency Management system and which is today widely recognised as the leading agency management system deployed by more than 135 of the top tier communications companies.
In 2000 Keith led the merger of Concept Integrated Systems with two technical services companies to form Enterprise Solutions Group, (ESG). ESG has the Concept™ agency management solution as its flagship product which it delivers combined with a comprehensive range of implementation and solutions delivery and hosting services. Prior to ESG, Keith held a number of senior management positions in software and hardware companies including Unisys and NCR.
